- Your store address (your-store.myshopify.com).
- The product concerned and roughly when it happened.
- What you expected, and what happened instead.
Sync history in the app shows each sync, and any failure comes with a short explanation.
How syncing works
Turn syncing on for a product that has more than one variant. When the stock of any one of its variants changes at a location, Douplo sets the other variants at that same location to match. Each location is handled separately. You can exclude individual variants, set a quantity for all variants at once, and use Fix or Check all products to correct products that have drifted apart.
Plans
- Free: sync up to 3 products (any number of variants each).
- Pro: sync unlimited products.
You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the Billing page in the app. Billing is handled by Shopify. If you move from Pro to Free with more than 3 products syncing, Douplo keeps them running for 7 days; after that it switches off the most recently enabled products beyond the limit, and you can upgrade again at any time.
Good to know
- Douplo syncs up to 50 variants per product.
- It only changes inventory quantities; it never edits products, prices or orders.
- To remove Douplo, uninstall it from Settings → Apps in Shopify. Your data is deleted when you do.
Frequently asked questions
What does Douplo do?
Douplo keeps the stock of all variants of a Shopify product the same. When the inventory of one variant changes at a location, Douplo sets the other variants at that location to match.
Does it work with more than one location?
Yes. Each location is handled separately, so stock at one location is never mixed with another.
Can I leave a variant out?
Yes. Turn a variant off in Choose variants and Douplo never changes its stock, and changing its stock never changes the other variants.
What does Douplo change in my store?
Only inventory quantities. It never edits products, prices or orders.
How many variants and products can it sync?
Up to 50 variants per product. The Free plan syncs up to 3 products and Pro has no product limit.
What does it cost?
Douplo has a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. Plans are managed on Shopify's own plan page, and you can change or cancel at any time.
Does Douplo store customer data?
No. Douplo reads products, inventory and locations only. It does not request access to customers, orders or payments.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
Everything Douplo stored for your store is deleted, normally straight away and within 48 hours at the latest.
